"Advice can be a vice!"
is known to convey the feeling that one "knows better"
and the other should rather "accept it".

This feeling can be perceived as the advice-giver putting himself above the advice-receipient. A constellation that precludes an encounter at eye level and makes cooperation very difficult. Advice can be desired, but should not be given straight forward in coaching.

Through appropriate questions and coaching methods, the coachee should come up with the solutions that suit him or her. This process causes a deeper understanding and higher acceptance for the implementation. As a "pathfinder" I have access and trust across all generations. Hierarchical levels are irrelevant in this context.
