Short biograpy of Jochen Langenberger

Grown up in rural Herrenberg south of Stuttgart (Germany) in the family of a self-employed drive technology engineer.

Professional qualifications: Training as a CTA, plant engineer and studies in mechanical engineering, process engineering and environmental technology at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz (Germany).

1990 Development engineer for environmental technology at Dürr Systems GmbH in Stuttgart (Germany).
1994 Project Manager and Engineering Manager for standard plants and global technology transfer of UWT in the Dürr Group, Dürr Environmental Inc. Michigan (USA). Almost four years in the USA with business relationships to North America and Mexico, Germany, England, Scotland, Korea and Japan.

1998 Head of Plant Engineering at Lewa Herbert Ott GmbH + Co., Leonberg (Germany) in the extended circle of management. Restructuring of the division with reorganization, introduction of project management and controlling, product development, international market development and sales development.

2002 Sales manager for sales development Germany at Thermoselect Heavy Machinery, Dottikon (Switzerland) in the extended circle of management.

Since 2004 self-employed management consultant, senior project manager, interim manager and coach for small and medium-sized companies in mechanical and plant engineering, automotive, medical technology and other related industries. Consulting and coaching of specialists and executives up to and including managing directors and shareholders.

Further qualifications as generalist since 1990 in organization, leadership, marketing, business administration in USA, Germany, Austria and Switzerland (St. Gallen Management Seminar for SME) as well as certifications as coach and lean manager.

Sports and social-cultural engagement in clubs (sailing, Vovinam) and the student fraternity 'TWV Alania zu Konstanz' (board member since 2007, president since 2019). Support of the organization World Vision with sponsorships in Africa since 2000.
